An adventurous teddy bear has raised almost £1,000 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

Potter Logistics enlisted the services of a small bear called Henry Potter to travel the UK on trains, trucks and various other modes of transport.

The firm asked members of staff and the public to guess how many miles Henry would travel in return for a £2 donation, with all money raised being donated to EACH.

Henry set off on his travels on November 19 from Potter Logistics’ Ely distribution centre returning there on December 20.

He travelled across the Potter Logistics business network, reaching places such as Ireland and Gretna Green, and clocking up almost £4,000 miles.

The challenge raised £900 for EACH and the winner of the £100 prize money was Andy Clark from GBRf.
