Most of us are still recovering from the Christmas period - but these little ones are already excited for this year’s festive season.
Littleport Community Primary School has taken delivery of a selection of colourful Christmas decorations, including trees, presents and snowmen.
The larger-than-life decorations have been donated by Ely’s Sainsbury’s store.
John Cattermole, the school’s head, said: “After our Christmas activities, we definitely needed some new decorations and these new ones look fantastic.
“I’d like to say a big thank you to the team at Sainsbury’s Ely for this generous donation. We’ll certainly be putting them to good use.”
Karen Watts, manager at Sainsbury’s Ely, said: “We’re delighted to donate these decorations to Littleport Community Primary School.
“We received great feedback from our customers on this year’s decorations and it’s great to ensure they’ve found a good home in the community.”
The donation is part of Sainsbury’s commitment to ‘No Waste to Landfill’. The retailer achieved zero waste to landfill at all stores in 2013.
