Steve Fallon hopes Soham’s goalkeeping situation will be resolved soon as Enol Ordonez returns for tomorrow’s home game with Erith & Belvedere.

The on-loan Cambridge City stopper missed Tuesday’s defeat at Wroxham after being recalled by his parent club as cover for the injured Zac Barrett.

But with City not having a game tomorrow, Ordonez plays for Soham in place of under-18s keeper Callum McDermott.

“Enol is back with us for the Erith game and hopefully after that we’ll have a better idea of whether he will be with us for a longer period,” said manager Fallon.

“Callum did well and every game he plays helps his development. If it comes to it, we’re happy to put him in.”

Buster Harradine is ruled out through injury, while Michael Simpson and Connor Wood are both doubtful.

“There are a few players who have had to be patient, so this gives them an opportunity to stake a claim for a place,” said Fallon.

“We’ve got to push on and get back to the performances we have been showing.”
