Jesse Browning looks for a positive response to his recent defeat when he boxes on a show in Hoddesdon tonight.

The Haddenham & Ely hitter suffered a split decision loss in front of his home crowd two weeks ago.

But he aims to make up for it against an un-named home opponent.

Clubmate Nathan Smith will join him on the bill and is in a similar position after also losing on a split verdict at Ely College on his debut.

Coach Mike Sawyer said: “I’m looking for Jesse and Smithy to do well because they’re both boxing ever so well at the moment.

“They lost on our show, but they’re improving a hell of a lot and they’re boxing good boys.”
