One of the region’s largest home care providers has a new base.
Midas Care Ltd has re-located its offices from the E-space North business park in Littleport to Pegasus House in Waterbeach.
The firm, which currently employs more than 90 staff, is now expanding its workforce, which it says is in order to meet the increasing demand for social care in Cambridgeshire.
Matthew Sumner, managing director, said: “We are all very excited about moving to our new Waterbeach location.
“The office move will provide our staff with a much improved working environment with dedicated facilities to use for training and meetings.
“The new office will allow our team to work more closely together, ultimately improving the services we provide.”
Midas Care has been contracted by Cambridgeshire County Council through residential care since 1989 and, subsequently, since 1999 through home care.
The authority has also recently appointed the firm as a strategic partner for care for the home-care services division.
Mr Sumner said: “The demand for domiciliary social care in Cambridgeshire is rapidly increasing and therefore we are looking to expand our team in order to meet demand whilst continuing to provide a dedicated service.”
