A veterinary surgery in Ely has celebrated a major milestone by undergoing a revamp.

Companion Care’s Cathedral Veterinary Surgery has been in Newnham Street for 10 years and on Saturday, a family fun day was held to celebrate the completion of the refurb.

Sally-Ann Halliday, practice manager, said: “We’ve had quite a revamp and we’re delighted with how everything looks.

“We’ve changed the layout of the practice and we’ve now got an extra consulting room.

“We’ve also created separate treatment rooms and waiting room areas for cats and dogs so that both species can feel completely at ease when they’re here.

“We’re looking forward to being in Ely for plenty more years to come!”

The fun day included talks, face painting and unusual creatures for families to meet.
