Written byJORDAN DAY

A fitness fanatic is launching a new bootcamp in Ely to help people lose weight and tone up this summer.

Jess Owen, who teaches fitness classes at Cambridge Regional College’s sports centre, is running the six-week intense bootcamp at Ely Rugby Club, in Downham Road, starting on Thursday, June 5.

Former Witchford Village College student Jess, 20, said: “The classes will be suitable for all fitness levels and they will be fun.

“We won’t be using weights and all the usual gym equipment - we’ll be using tractor tyres and things like that.”

The classes will be held whatever the weather every Thursday evening from 7-7.45pm and the cost is £5.50 per session.

A taster session is being held at the rugby club on Thursday, May 29 at 7pm and costs £2.

Call Jess on 07854 025314 for information.
