Bookworms can read to their heart’s content thanks to an initiative at Ely Library this summer.

The library, in The Cloisters, is taking part in this year’s ‘Summer Reads: Your reading adventure’ scheme.

The project, which is now in its fifth year, will enable you to read eight stimulating books hand-picked by a discerning group of readers over the summer months.

All eight books will be available from Ely Library, plus participants will be able to meet other readers, put questions to the writers and take part in reader workshops.

Ely Library’s scheme is being launched on Monday, June 9 at 7pm.

For more information, call the library on 0345 045 5225 or visit www.summerreads.org.uk.
