Sutton Feast Beast 10km race and fun run is this Sunday

Written byJORDAN DAY

Remember the Sutton Feast Beast is being held this weekend.

The annual 10km race and fun run is taking place on Sunday – and as ever people of all ages and fitness levels can take part.

The race, which is now in its 11th year, is held as part of the Sutton Feast programme and it encompasses the Tony Robinson Memorial 10km (named after the previous organiser who sadly passed away) and the Mini-Beast Fun Run.

The event kicks off at The Pavilion at 10am.

Martin Pickering, director of the race, said: “This year is panning out to be our biggest and best event yet especially with the local youth club, primary school and Sutton Rangers FC all entering multiple teams in the fun run.”

Places are limited and come on a first serve basis.

To register or to check if places are still available, visit www.sutton10kfunrun2014.co.uk.

A family quiz night is also being held at The Pavilion on Friday, June 27 at 7.30pm as part of the feast programme.
