Sutton Feast Beast 10k run - can you tame it?

Written byJORDAN DAY

The countdown to this year’s Sutton Feast Beast is now on.

The annual 10km race and fun run is being held on Sunday, June 22 - and as ever people of all ages and fitness levels can take part.

The race, which is now in its 11th year, is held as part of the Sutton Feast programme and it encompasses the Tony Robinson Memorial 10km (named after the previous organiser who sadly passed away) and the Mini-Beast Fun Run.

Nine local businesses are supporting this year’s event.

Martin Pickering, director of the race, said: “It is brilliant that local businesses are so willing to support a community event such as The Beast.

“These events cost money to put on and would not be possible without this wonderful support.

“This year is panning out to be our biggest and best event yet especially with the local youth club, primary school and Sutton Rangers FC all entering multiple teams in the fun run.”

Places are limited and come on a first serve basis.
