It certainly wasn’t a case of ‘no likey, no lighty’ when two Slimming World consultants met comedian and TV presenter Paddy McGuinness.

Sharon Heaps, who runs groups in Littleport and Swaffham Prior, and Karen Roe, who runs groups in Ely, got to meet Paddy when he co-hosted the Slimming World Awards in Birmingham with the organisation’s chair and founder Margaret Miles-Bramwell OBE.

Paddy said: “I was amazed to hear about what a difference consultants like Sharon and Karen make to people’s lives.

“I met lots of people who’d lost incredible amounts of weight and it had totally changed their lives.”
