Richmond Printmakers exhibiting their work in Ely

Written byJORDAN DAY

Talented printmakers are showcasing their work in Ely for the first ever time.

Richmond Printmakers is a group of professional artists, founded in 1991 and based in and around Richmond-upon-Thames, Surrey.

In 2011, the group celebrated 20 years of co-operative printmaking with a successful show at Orleans House, Twickenham.

And now they are exhibiting their work at the Babylon Gallery in Ely’s Waterside.

A group spokesman said: “Richmond Printmakers are excited to be showing in such an historic city as Ely and are honoured to have been invited to the beautiful setting of the Babylon Gallery.”

The exhibition is open until Saturday, June 21. The gallery itself is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 12-4pm and entry is free.
