Rapper Guvna B to perform at Ely Cathedral's Rave in the Nave

Award-winning rap artist, Guvna B, is coming to Ely next week.

The London-based rapper, best-known for contemporary gospel rap music, and who won his category at the internationally acclaimed MOBO Awards and the Urban Music Awards, will be performing at Ely Cathedral’s annual Rave in the Nave youth event on Friday, July 11.

Rave in the Nave is an annual Christian gathering for young people aged 12 and over from churches and Christian youth teams across the Diocese of Ely.

As well as Guvna B, there will also be live bands, a barbecue, circus skills and giant inflatables, to name just a few of the activities.

Canon Alan Hargrave, who has been supporting Rave in the Nave for over 10 years, said: “There is so much to say about Rave – live bands, big inflatables, barbecue, Labyrinth, circus tricks, dancing, chill out café.

“As well as well-known local band Empire Nation, this year Rave will be featuring award-winning rap artist Guvna B, performing his hit singles: Free, Sending One Up and Send a Wave.

“It will be a great evening so don’t miss out kids!”
