Singers and musicians could soon be coming to the village of Wilburton to make and record their music.

Suffolk-based firm, JEC Audio Limited, wants to open new recording studios in Stretham Road.

The business has applied to East Cambridgeshire District Council for planning permission to change the use of number 107 from storage of building materials and base for a civil engineering company to B8 storage with ancillary B1 uses, including five rehearsal/recording studios and one control room.

A decision could be made within eight weeks.
