Outdoor production of Romeo and Juliet at Ely's Old Palace

The Lord Chamberlain’s Men are returning to Ely for an open-air production of ‘Romeo and Juliet’.

Shakespeare’s popular love story is being staged in the gardens of the Old Palace, on Palace Green, on Tuesday, June 10 at 7.30pm.

King’s Ely’s actor in residence, Nicholas Limm, will also be starring in it as he is touring the UK with the Lord Chamberlain’s Men after successfully auditioning to play the part of Lady Capulet.

People are encouraged to take low back seating or rugs to the performance, which will go ahead in all but the very worst weather.

Tickets are £12.50 for adults, £10 for children and need to be booked by calling (01353) 653931.
