A new soap has been created to celebrate the history and heritage of Ely.

The Ely City Soap, which boasts a sunset picture of Ely Cathedral and the city’s Riverside on the front, is being made by Buttercups Handmade Soap.

The business, which is run by Robin Whitehead, has recently launched at CrackPots ceramic cafe in Broad Street, Ely, and the special Ely soap is now being stocked at the city’s tourist information centre.

As well as handmade soaps, Buttercups also runs bath bomb making workshops for people of all ages - either at Crackpots or mobile.

Visit www.buttercupshandmadesoap.co.uk for more information about the business.
