New business mentoring scheme launched at Ely College Sixth-Form

A new business mentoring scheme has been launched at Ely College Sixth-Form.

The initiative, launched last week, is the result of a partnership between the college, the Ely Cathedral Business Group and members of the city’s Chamber of Commerce.

Co-ordinated by Cllr Lis Every, Ely’s deputy mayor and a former teacher at the college, the scheme will encourage regular one-to-one interaction between sixth-formers and their local business mentors, who will help them plan for their future careers and consider their higher education options.
