Multiple vehicle crash on Station Road in Ely leaves route partially blocked

A road in Ely has been blocked after an accident involving several vehicles this morning.

Station Road in Ely is partially blocked and traffic is building in both directions between the Queen Adelaide Way junction and the Angel Square junction.

Four or five vehicles were thought to have been involved in a crash. There was also a fuel spillage.

The vehicles are currently being recovered.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 7.21am treating a woman who suffered a minor facial injury.

“She has been discharged at the scene so didn’t require hospital treatment.”
