Man, 29, appears in court charged with indecently exposing himself in Ely

A man has appeared in court charged with indecently exposing himself outside a supermarket in Ely.

Rafal Brozozowski, 29, is accused of indecently exposing himself outside the city’s Sainsbury’s store in Lisle Lane.

The incident is alleged to have taken place in the early hours of Wednesday, June 12.

Brozozowski, of Market Street, Cambridge, appeared at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court today (Friday).

No plea was entered and the case was committed to crown court.

Brozozowski was remanded in custody and will appear at Cambridge Crown Court on Friday, June 20.

The alleged incident is different to another indecent assault alleged to have happened in Ely this month.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of indecently exposing himself in St Johns Road on the morning of Saturday, May 17.

Police say the man is currently on bail pending further enquiries.
