Lucky escape for motorists as car overturns on A142 Soham Bypass

A vehicle crashed into a ditch on the A142 Soham Bypass this morning (Wednesday).

Emergency services were called just after 9.20am and arrived to find the vehicle on its roof close to the junction with East Fen Drove.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “One man, aged in his 50s, suffered a minor head injury.

“There was one other person in the vehicle who escaped without any injuries.

“Both patients were discharged at the scene.”
