John Yates is new president of Ely Hereward Rotary Club

John Yates is the new president of Ely Hereward Rotary Club.

City councillor John, who is also the deputy mayor of Ely, took over the chain of office from Christine Gascoigne.

Christine’s final act as the club’s president was to present a cheque for £500 to Niki Pitt, the founder of local charity, Act 4 Kidz.

Act 4 Kidz is run entirely by volunteers and provides activities and support for children with disabilities and additional needs in the Ely area.
