Inquest opened into death of man hit by car in Ely

An inquest has been opened into the death of an Eastern European man who was hit by a car in Ely.

Edmundas Lymantas, 34, of Aldeman Drive, Peterborough, died when he was struck by a car in Angel Drove on December 1.

An inquest into his death was opened in Huntingdon on Friday, January 3.

The cause of death was given as unascertained and the inquest was adjourned until May 14.
