Inquest into death of man, 54, who is believed to have drowned in Sutton

An inquest has been opened into the death of a man who is believed to have drowned in Sutton.

David Sherlock, 54, of The Southerns, Sutton, died at River Bank, Sutton, on Saturday, June 14.

An inquest into Mr Sherlock’s death has been opened and adjourned pending further enquiries.

The cause of death is provisionally given as drowning, awaiting toxicology reports.
