How do you think transport in the Ely area can be improved?

Written byJORDAN DAY

Residents are being given the chance to speak up about transport improvements in the Ely area.

Cambridgeshire County Council is writing up its draft Long Term Transport Strategy, which forms part of the Local Transport Plan.

A spokesman for East Cambridgeshire District Council said: “More than 11,000 new homes are planned for East Cambs over the next 20 years and we need a transport system that can support the extra demand.

“What improvements would you like to see in your area?”

Among the large-scale proposals are the Ely Southern Bypass and dualling parts of the A10.
