Ramblers donned their winter warmers to enjoy the sights and sounds of Ely.

Members of the East Cambridgeshire Ramblers Group completed a four-and-a-half-mile mud-free walk around the city’s scenic walkways on Saturday and finished with refreshments at the Almonry Tearooms.

Their next walk will be a five-mile course around Wicken on Sunday, January 26.

A spokeswoman for the group said: “We are part of the Ramblers Association and organise regular, accomplishable and accessible walks throughout the year.

“All walks have a leader and no walking experience is needed to join our friendly and welcoming group.”

For more information about the group, visit www.ramblers.org.uk or search ‘Ramblers’ on Facebook.
