Fair is coming to Ely's Forehill car park next week

The fair is coming to Ely next week.

The annual May Fair will be open to the public in Forehill car park from Thursday, May 29 until Saturday, May 31.

As ever, the fairground rides will be occupying the long stay section of the car park.

A spokesman for East Cambridgeshire District Council said: “The Ely May Fair will occupy the long stay section of Forehill Car Park.

“The car park will be closed to the public on the morning of Wednesday, May 28 to enable the fair to be set up. The fair will open to the public on Thursday, May 29.

“The fair will close on the evening of Saturday, May 31 and everything connected with the fair, including rides, lorries and caravans will be off the car park by 10am on Sunday, June 1.
