Cyclist suffers head and facial injuries in collision with van on A142 bypass

A cyclist suffered head and facial injuries when he was involved in a collision with a van.

Emergency services were called to the collision on the A142 bypass, near Stuntney, at around 9.25am today (Friday).

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “A cyclist, a man in his 30s, was involved in a collision with a van.

“The cyclist suffered head and facial injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance.

“His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

“It is not believed the driver of the van sustained any injuries.”
