Bin fire sparks 999 call-out in Ely

A bin caught light in Ely and the flames spread to a fence.

Firefighters were called to the blaze in Columbine Road at around 3.55pm yesterday (Thursday).

One crew attended and arrived to find the fire had spread to a fence.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

The crew returned to Ely station by 4.10pm.
