A new cafe with a twist is opening inside a beauty salon in Ely.
Caroline Bailey, the owner of Spa Ely, in Forehill, is teaming up with MasterChef finalist, Tim Kinnaird, and the Grey Seal Coffee Roastery to open Cafe Ely.
The new business, which Mrs Bailey describes as a “cafe lounge experience”, will be based inside Spa Ely.
Mrs Bailey, who is launching the new venture with Caroline Arkless, said: “Cafe Ely will combine the finest quality coffee with exquisite, artisan confections and MasterChef finalist Tim Kinnaird’s delicately-crafted macarons.
“We are so excited to be bringing a first class, quality coffee concept to our wonderful city.
“Inspired by our European travel where sophistication, ambience and exceptional patisserie are key to a great cafe lounge, we have been busy sourcing coffee which is locally hand roasted using the finest beans from around the world and mouth-watering confectionery from established European families.
“In our pursuit to bring the finest patisserie they have been extraordinarily fortunate to team up with MasterChef finalist Tim Kinnaird.
“In addition to the wonderful cafe lounge, Cafe Ely will be offering a takeaway and gift service so that you can replicate Cafe Ely in both your home or office.”
Cafe Ely is opening on Saturday, July 19 at 9am.
