Former Littleport GP surgery manager accused of £100K theft

A former doctor’s surgery manager is accused of stealing more than £100,000 from her employers.

Yvonne Bartram, 51, the former manager of St George’s Medical Centre in Littleport, is alleged to have stolen £102,405 belonging to the partners of the medical centre, in Parsons Lane, between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2010.

Bartram, of Wisbech Road, Littleport, is also accused of stealing 200 tablets of Pergolide Mesilate, worth £200, belonging to the centre on October 19, 2010.

She was due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (October 24) but did not attend.

The case was adjourned until November 7.
