Capture the magic of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe in Littleport.

After months of rehearsals, the award-winning Littleport Players are staging the much-loved musical at the village hall, in Victoria Street, from Friday, June 6 through to Sunday, June 8.

Becky Green, chair of the Littleport Players, said: “This year we decided on a well-known musical that is fun for all the family.

“There are lots of distinguished characters to meet including Mr Tumnus, the White Witch, Father Christmas plus a host of spell-binding, creative animals that will certainly capture the eye.

“The making of the lion was the most exciting part of this show and deciding how to stage it was a defeat in itself.

“But we’re more than pleased with the outcome and I feel sure that all audience members will fall in love with this incredible Aslan that has become part of our lives.”

The musical is being directed by Karen Booth and Maria McElroy.

Performances are being held at 7.30pm on Friday and Saturday, and 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets are £8 each and are available from the Bargain Centre or Bizzie Lizzie, both in Littleport.
