Thousands of swans have started to land at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) in Welney as they prepare to spend the cold winter on the Ouse Washes.
And now you can get up close to them, and a whole other wildfowl, as the reserve is launching its programme of floodlit swan feeds.
The feeds are being launched on Friday, November 1.
Visitors can learn all about the swans via a live commentary while watching the wardens feed the birds - illuminated by floodlights - from inside the warmth of the centre’s observatory.
Already, over 1,000 Whooper swans - and some Bewick’s swans - have arrived at the centre, with thousands more expected over the coming weeks.
The floodlit feeds are being held every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday through to Friday, February 28 and are held at 6.30pm each time.
