Popular author Elly Griffiths will be in Ely next month.

The writer, who is renowned for her award-winning Norfolk-based crime series about archaeologist Ruth Galloway, will be talking about her latest novel, The Outcast Dead.

The talk, organised by Ely’s Toppings and Company Booksellers, is being held at St Peter’s Church, in Broad Street, on Wednesday (February 12).

A spokeswoman for Toppings said: “We have loved Elly Griffiths’ Norfolk-based crime series about forensic archaeologist Ruth Galloway ever since the first book, The Crossing Places, and we were very excited to hear about the latest instalment, The Outcast Dead.

“Elly is a fantastic speaker and her readings from the book are superb.

“Those of you who have encountered Elly and Ruth before know what a treat this will be - those of you who haven’t read the books yet, come along and see what you’ve been missing.”

The talk starts at 8pm and tickets are £6.
