Ely’s annual Etheldreda Craft and Food Fair is being held on Saturday (May 31).
As ever, Palace Green, outside Ely Cathedral, will come alive with fun and frolics for the whole family.
There will be more than 40 stalls selling everything from locally-grown produce to handmade jewellery, as well as crafts, gifts and summer produce.
As far as food and refreshments go, there will be afternoon tea, homemade cakes and plenty of champagne and strawberries to go round.
Visitors can also expect children’s games, tombolas and raffles.
A spokeswoman for Ely Cathedral said: “Etheldreda Fair is a traditional English fair surrounded by the splendour of the cathedral and the Old Palace - two of Ely’s most magnificent historic buildings.
“It is always an entertaining day for the whole family and all proceeds will benefit the Ely Cathedral Choir Tour Fund.”
The fair was started in the early 1990s and was named after St Etheldreda, the founding Abbess of the first Abbey in Ely.
This year’s event is running from 10am-5pm.
