The award-winning Ely Sinfonia is performing at Ely Cathedral this month.

Their ‘Midsummer Celebration’ concert on Friday, June 20 is being held as part of the Isle of Ely Arts Festival programme.

A spokeswoman for the orchestra said: “The concert will feature two exquisite pieces – Mozart’s Serenade for 13 Wind Instruments and Gershwin’s Lullaby for Strings.

“Our chamber groups will play works from the eighteenth and twentieth centuries in an evening of popular classics to mark the height of summer.”

The concert starts at 8pm and tickets are £12, or £10 for concessions.

For tickets, call the cathedral box office on (01353) 660349.
