Take a step back in time at the Prickwillow Drainage Engine Museum on Sunday (June 29).

The museum, in Main Street, Prickwillow, is holding a special 1920s day to celebrate the 90th birthday of the Mirrlees Engine.

Running from 11am-4.30pm, there will be engine runs, vintage vehicles, including cars, motorcycles and farm machinery, bygones and a steam fire engine.

There will also be a specially commissioned cake and balloons to celebrate the occasion.

Pauline Dunham, a trustee at the museum, said: “It’s going to be a really fun event and we’d like to welcome as many people along, including families.

“Two of our volunteers originally worked on the engine during its working life and will be there to start it on the day.”

Admission is £4 for adults, £3 for concessions and £1.50 for children.

Food and refreshments will be served, plus parking is available on site.
